I didn’t realize the significance of this name until I started my journey in search of
brain food I clearly needed mental energy and mental stamina to help me succeed
with my doctoral exams in French Literature at U.C.L.A. I was in my early sixties,
and I noticed that my memory did not have the clarity that it once had. I became
alarmed, but a miraculous change was in the works. But, it had to be natural, it
had to be organic, not made of the chemical stuff that was produced in labs and all a “rage” at that time.
It all began when my husband, Tom, and I decided to attend a Los Angles Whole Life Expo. It featured, among
other things, unusual health products. We have been on the path of natural healing for many years but that day I
was looking for some natural stimulant for my brain. I wasn’t sure what it would be. Then all of a sudden, we came
upon a Super Blue-Green® Algae booth that displayed a sign: BRAIN FOOD, FREE SAMPLE. We stopped. With
